It's time to begin your journey to health and lifelong well-being! Hello, my name is Irene, and I am your partner who will support, educate, guide, and cheer you on every step of the way. For your information, I'm a former Division 1 soccer player, and I received my undergraduate degree in business. I'm also Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor, Duke Certified Integrative Health & Wellness Coach, and a Certified Nutrition Coach.

 

My clinical background includes treating patients in an Integrative Behavioral Medicine Clinic where I was part of a multidisciplinary treatment team that helped treat and manage symptoms for chronic illnesses, as well as Duke University's Integrative Medicine Program where I received extensive knowledge of nutrition, mindfulness, and healthy lifestyle modalities. I'm passionate and dedicated to empowering clients to meet and even exceed their health and well-being goals.

Her extensive training at Duke University's Integrative Medicine Program gave her the right tools that will help you get well and stay well.

To further address your physical, emotional, and mental well-being, Irene has completed over 200 hours of rigorous yoga training and received her certification through Yoga Alliance.  Along with nearly 20 years of practice, her advanced scientifically proven methodology is for everyBODY.  By incorporating mindfulness practices into your routine, you will improve your health, strength, flexibility, and lower your risk of injury.

Nutrition / Weight Management Coach

To strengthen your results, Irene has incorporated nutrition into her practice. Using the VLASI Approach, Irene can address existing health conditions and manage weight loss. Here at VLASI, we believe that food is medicine, and together we will build a personalized health plan that will get you on the road to a healthy lifestyle for lifelong results.

Your Certified Physician Assistant and Health Coach

Hi! I'm Peggy Baros, a trained Physician Assistant, Certified Health Coach (for real!), and cancer survivor with a love for holistic medicine dedicated to helping people like you on your path toward health and happiness! I'm excited to apply my more than 25 years of medical experience, with the last 15 focused on emergency medicine, to guide you away from potential illness and achieve optimal mind, body, and spiritual health! I am living my best life and want the same for you!
